Flying Squirrel (2023)

The source image for ‘Flying Squirrel’ came from a vintage McDonald’s in Downey, California, that looks exactly the same as it did in the 1950s.

While waiting for my cheeseburger, I snapped a photo of one of the golden arches, and when the final piece was assembled, it reminded me of one of the vintage spacecraft from 1930s science fiction films, being piloted by an angry little cartoon squirrel, dive-bombing the viewer.
