The Discovery,  1994

This is a photo of a futuristic conquistador is from early in my career. The background is a photo of marble stairs from the atrium of the World Trade Center, which was then was flipped, mirrored, and combined with a comp of blue buildings and a red sunset, a 3d render of the composite image mapped onto a sphere, and the wooden man is an actual sculpture from a mansion in the UK.
